About me
I’m Aman, an IT and cybersecurity enthusiast with a passion for building, engineering and solving complex problems through technology. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked across various industries, ranging from finance to digital agencies, leading infrastructure transformation, enhancing cybersecurity, and implementing scalable technical solutions.
My journey started as a self-taught enthusiast, exploring computers, hardware, and software out of pure curiosity, after watching one too many Linus Tech Tips videos on YouTube. What began as tinkering and experimenting eventually evolved into a career focused on turning technical challenges into strategic solutions. Today, I specialise in designing secure, high performing systems while enabling businesses to work smarter through modern IT practices, automation, and cloud technologies.
I currently lead IT and cybersecurity strategy at Tangent, where I’ve driven projects such as Cyber Essentials accreditation, AI governance implementation, and infrastructure modernisation across Microsoft 365, Azure, and automation platforms. I enjoy combining hands-on technical work with leadership guiding teams, collaborating with senior stakeholders, and ensuring technology aligns with business goals.
What drives me is the belief that technology should be purposeful, secure, and enable people to do their best work. Whether I’m implementing compliance frameworks, deploying cloud solutions, or simplifying complex ideas into practical plans, I pride myself on attention to detail, innovation, and doing things properly.
Outside of work, I channel that same engineering mindset into my personal interests. I love building and modifying BMWs, working on performance and visual enhancements, and constantly learning through trial, error, and improvement. I’m also a Lego enthusiast! It’s one of my favourite ways to decompress while still challenging my creativity.
When I’m not under the bonnet or assembling something, you’ll probably find me playing piano or guitar, exploring emerging tech trends, or sharing insights on AI, innovation, and IT leadership on LinkedIn.
