About me
I’m Aman, an IT and cybersecurity enthusiast with a passion for building, engineering and solving complex problems through technology. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked across various industries, ranging from finance to digital agencies, leading infrastructure transformation, enhancing cybersecurity, and implementing scalable technical solutions.
I got into tech mostly by messing around with computers, hardware and software because I wanted to understand how things worked. A lot of that started with watching far too many Linus Tech Tips videos, building things, breaking things, fixing them again, and gradually realizing I could turn that interest into a career.
These days I lead IT and cybersecurity. My work covers a fairly broad mix of internal IT, cloud, infrastructure, security, automation and governance. I've worked on everything from Microsoft 365 and Azure through to Kubernetes, DevOps, Cyber Essentials, ISO, AI governance and plenty of projects that started with "surely there’s a better way of doing this."
I'm still very hands-on technically, which is important to me. I enjoy designing and building things, troubleshooting problems and automating the boring stuff, but I also enjoy the other side of the job: working out what actually makes sense for the business and turning something complicated into a plan people can understand.
A lot of what I've learned has come from trying things myself. Homelabs, side projects, open-source tools and generally disappearing down technical rabbit holes because something looked interesting. I don't think that part of me is ever going away.
Outside of work, cars take up a fair amount of my time. I'm a big BMW fan and enjoy modifying, maintaining and generally finding excuses to work on them. I'm also into Lego, play a bit of piano and guitar, and usually have some sort of project on the go.
