Getting AI under control at work
At Tangent I’m leading our ISO/IEC 42001 work. I’m building the AI Management System from scratch, plus the tooling that lets people use AI properly without it all turning into shadow IT.
ISO 27001:2022 certified with zero non-conformities
Shadow AI detection running across six surfaces
ISO/IEC 42001 AI Management System (in progress)
Off-hours
BMW builds & mods
Most weekends I’m in the garage retrofitting and coding BMWs. There’s always one more part to fit.
Off-hours
Building LEGO
Building sets, and building BrickKeep, an iOS app for keeping track of your LEGO collection. Coming soon.
Off-hours
Guitar & piano
I play guitar and piano. Mostly it’s practice, fail, repeat. Give me a Heineken though and I’m convinced I’m James Hetfield.
Off-hours
Gaming
Gaming is how I switch off once the laptop’s closed. For something more retro, there’s always Windows 95.
Off-hours
Writing it down
I write on LinkedIn about infrastructure, AI workflows and automation. Mostly things I learned the hard way on real projects.
